About Anchorage Pontoons

Anchorage Pontoons brings together more than 20 years of marine experience in New Zealand waters. Originally established in 1998 as Superior Jetties & Pontoons and later expanded with Salto Docks & Marine, the business now operates under one trusted name – Anchorage Pontoons. We design and supply high-quality floating docks, pontoons, ramps, and gangway systems for residential, commercial, and marine applications across New Zealand. Every system is engineered with local conditions in mind, from tidal movement and shoreline variation to long-term durability in freshwater and saltwater environments. Through strong engineering partnerships and proven construction methods, we deliver marine structures that are reliable, safe, and built to perform for years to come.

Our flexible coupling system allows each pontoon module to move independently, dissipating wave energy and reducing stress on the structure. This significantly extends the life of the pontoon and provides a smoother, safer berthing experience.

Durable, Safe & Fully Modular

Each pontoon unit is rotationally moulded from Medium Density Polyethylene (MDPE)and includes a built-in non-slip deck for superior safety. The modular design allows pontoons to be connected in any direction without drilling or welding. All components—connectors, pile brackets, cleats, fenders, ladders, and accessories—are precision-fabricated for a perfect fit every time. Modules can be mixed and matched to build customised layouts for residential, commercial, marina, or waterfront applications.

Whether you’re planning a residential jetty, a commercial marina, a boat ramp, or a custom waterfront project, our modular system offers the flexibility and reliability you need.

Our standard pontoon modules are 400mm tall and float in 40mm of water.

We offer four standard sizes to suit a wide range of applications:

• 3.0 x 2.0 m = 6.0 m²

• 3.0 x 1.5 m = 4.5 m²

• 3.0 x 1.0 m = 3.0 m²

• 1.0 x 1.5 m = 1.5 m²

Corner & Pile Modules

Specialised corner and pile modules are available to integrate with all standard pontoon shapes and configurations.

Cleats, Fenders & Accessories

We offer a number of accessories including cast aluminium cleats, ladders, and edge fendering to tailor your pontoon layout to suit your needs.

Anchoring & Attachment Systems

Over the years, Anchorage Pontoons has worked closely with engineers and contractors to connect our pontoons to a wide range of structures. As a result, we have developed a variety of robust mounting solutions designed to integrate seamlessly with concrete abutments, piles, bottom anchoring systems, gangways, and radial arm systems.
